Works exactly as shown and documented by the developer. Easy to use and have had no issues. Cant find a single thing to complain about.

Nice bells-n-whistles to this GPS app. The email feature is nice and pulling up the google map is definately a great feature. Very handy tool and extremely useful to send locations to friends.

The simple no clutter interface is great. Getting raw GPS info is great and really works nice with something Im working on out in the field. I really like being able to send the data Ive collected to e-mails as well. The stability (as one user pointed out) is key. Ive had similar apps installed but they were flakey and prone to crashing - this one is solid. BUY THIS APP - it wont disappoint!

Does what it says, the updates have been nice additions. UTM coordinates and the ability to work without cell signal were why I purchased. Works great.

Does not connect to location or show any grids would like my money back or figure out a way to fix it

I am a staff sergeant in the army and this rocks with MGRS. 5 stars if maps become imbedded so you dont close app everytime. Perfect for .99!

Is the only paid app Ive bought so far an was worth it. Simple is the key! Great for large jobsite.

I needed an app to ping out my location during a recent 100+ mile run. I used this app to email my position to my team as well as a live map. It was easy to use and worked flawlessly even when I was very tired. This app, my iPhone (with its built in maps), an external battery and a water-tight baggy were the only navigational/GPS equipment that I used. I intend to use this app to ping out my location on my next 200 mile run. Well done Mr. Hoffman!

There are dozens of similar apps. This one stands alone in accuracy, superb interface with amazing ease of use. It is also a real bargain. This developer gets it when it comes to iPhone apps.

Im in the reserves and am also actively involved in search and rescue work--a simple add-on "calculator" enabling you to convert between lat/lon and MGRS/UTM would be a nice feature. For example, you may be at Point X. You may need to direct someone to Point Y. Id like to be able to convert Point Ys coordinates from lat/lon into MGRS, and/or UTM. That said, this app does it what it says it does without any muss or fuss.

As indicated, it is a good basic GPS app, however it would be nice to have the ability to store the results on the phone, and not just email them.

Ability to give accurate reading in multiple formats is key. Tested in ft. McCoy, wi and Boston area. Matches military maps. Simple to use, recommended. David 2-October-2009 Upgrading my review to 5 stars. MGRS functionality makes it useful. I suspect 1 star reviews do not use this feature and cant appreciate how valuable it is for people working in DoD domain.

Simple. Gives me what I need. MGRS with integrated google imagery. If only we could see both at same time?? MGRS transparent overlay on imagery. Yum!! Superb as is

As an Army Officer, I am very pleased with the inclusion of MGRS. I like the ability to email the current location.

I was a little hesitant to try this considering the iPhone GPS, but its been giving me accurate MGRS coords to eight digits all the time and ten digits about 75% of the time. For reference, Im getting parallel results from a Rhino 120.

All in the title. This app was worth more of my dollar than similar, more expensive gpss.

I had the original Basic GPS and used it more for curiousity as its interesting to know such information as your altitude, longitude, and latitude...but now with the updated functionality, its become more usable on a normal day to day basis. I love the email function along with the link to the google maps. This app has gone from a nice to have to a must have. Havent had any problems with it and its easy to use.

simple interface, easy to use.

Good, light-weight application, works well. Only nit is that in Grid 10S (SF/Bay Area) it would be good if the application would pre-pend a "0" before some of the the easterling coordinates. Minor bug but otherwise does the job I need it to do, thanks.
